Holidays Amendment Bill 2012
Following a review of the Holidays Act 1983 undertaken by the previous Queensland Government, the Act was amended in 2011 to, amongst other things, move the Queen’s Birthday public holiday from the second Monday in June to the first Monday in October, with the change commencing in 2012.
