Establishment of Paradise Dam Commission of Inquiry
Engineering investigations of Paradise Dam have identified a number of structural and stability issues that, in the event of a 1-in-200 year flood, may cause the dam to fail.

Disease test orders for Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)
The amendments to the Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000 provide a legislative framework for police to apply to a magistrate for a disease test order to have a person tested for COVID-19.
This will apply in circumstances where a person wilfully coughs, spits or sneezes at or on another person and has been arrested for a relevant assault offence under the Criminal Code.
